Swachhata Hi Seva - Hand in Hand' Cleanliness Campaign Launched in Koorachundu Panchayat

Koorachundu: As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, intensive cleaning activities under the 'Hand in Hand' (Kaiyodu Kai) initiative got off to an enthusiastic start in Koorachundu Grama Panchayat. The campaign aims to clean public spaces, streams, and roadsides, building a garbage-free panchayat.

Elected representatives, panchayat staff, Kudumbashree members, Haritha Karma Sena workers, socio-cultural organizations, and local residents joined hands for the cleaning drive conducted across various wards within the panchayat limits.

Plastic waste accumulated in public areas was separately collected and handed over to the Haritha Karma Sena. Panchayat officials informed that awareness campaigns regarding cleanliness maintenance and a plastic-free lifestyle will be further strengthened through Grama Sabhas and ward-level initiatives.
